Chinese electronics and smartphone manufacturer OPPO has announced plans to launch the international version of Reno3 in Kenya.

The smartphone brand built to offer exceptional camera capability will be launched in the Kenyan market on April 15, five months after OPPO Reno2 was launched in Kenya much to the acclaim of critics who raved over the phone’s photography quality.

OPPO is now following that up with the Reno3 which comes with greater ISO capabilities allowing the camera to capture greater detail even under extreme exposure.

According to OPPO, the decision on the launch reaffirms the importance of the Kenyan market to OPPO’s global strategy.

“Dim-light photography would not be a challenge anymore with the powerful Ultra Dark Mode. Video
shooting is also made to be even smarter and simpler than before,” Oppo said in a press dispatch.

Through Reno Series, OPPO has been trying to achieve a well-balanced combination of technology and fashion.

With its rear 48MP Zoom Quadcam and 44MP Front Camera with Ultra Night Selfie Mode, OPPO Reno3 captures clear images under any life scenarios.

With powerful photography settings, Reno3 claim to deliver the performance of “clear in every shot”, under all kinds of lighting context.

Reno3 challenges the restrictions of distance, lighting and shaky footage to deliver photos and videos of outstanding quality.

The Reno3 model is an improved version of OPPO’s popular Reno series. The new model is an upgrade of the OPPO Reno2 F model which was tailored for young and trendy smartphone users looking for powerful features.

OPPOs strategy has served the company well in the Kenyan market that is warming up to Chinese smartphone makers who are offering better specs at cheaper prices in comparison to western companies.

OPPO alongside Xiaomi, Vivo and Tecno have gained a lot of traction mainly because of pricing strategy.
