Ms. President, the reality show centered on Kenyan women in leadership, is set to return to screens across the country for a second season.
The first season of the show aired for 26 weeks on KTN in 2019. It is styled as a competition in which participants take on various leadership-related challenges and the winner is eventually crowned Ms. President. The audience also actively participates by voting for their favorite contestants.

To apply, one needs to be a Kenyan woman woman aged between 20-60 years and living in Kenya, with a diploma or higher qualifications. You should also be actively involved in your community showing leadership.

Nereah Amondi Oketch, a nominated Member of County Assembly (MCA) from Homa Bay County, was the first contestant to be crowned Ms. President in 2019.
Finalists were invited to State House where they had discussions on the state of the nation with President Uhuru Kenyatta. Uhuru endorsed the show, and later invited each of them to address a gathering from the Presidential podium at an official function in Ruiru. Several contestants went on to secure various public service and political appointments while others are eyeing elective seats in the 2022 General Elections.
They include Nadia Abdalla who has since been appointed by Kenyatta as a Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the ICT & Youth Ministry and Betty Adera who is now President of KANU Women Congress and a member of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) technical team.
