Rhema Feast prayer festival illuminates Uhuru Park

President William Ruto and first lady Rachel Ruto joined thousands of worshippers at Uhuru Park, Nairobi, on the last day of Rhema Feast 2026 prayer festival, reflecting Kenya’s diverse faith.

The annual praise and worship movement, founded in 2015 under RUACH Assemblies, started on Monday, August 31, and ended on Friday, September 4.

“It was a beautiful evening of faith, fellowship and thanksgiving, bringing together people from different walks of life in worship and celebration,” Dr. Ruto said.

The event attracted prominent preachers including Bishop J.B Masinde, Kathy Kiuna, Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Apostle Grace Lubega, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Dr David Ogbueli, Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, Apostle Mignonne Kabera, Apostle Felix Okoh, Pastor T. Mwangi and Pastor George Macharia.

All the men of the cloth stuck to the event’s “I will build my church” them with Reverend Julian Kyula, founder and Senior Pastor of Ruach Assemblies, saying past seasons cannot.

Kyula highlighted what it takes for christians to accomplish God’s purpose, noting that, “what has taken people 30 years to do, you shall accomplish in 3 years”

“It’s time to upgrade and rebuild,” he stressed.
