Jiji, the biggest African marketplace platform, has won two awards on safety and classifieds categories.

For the second time in a row, they have won Best Classifieds Website at the Digital Tech 100 Awards and also managed to bag the Safest Online Shopping Platform at the Transport and Logistics Excellence Awards, on the same day.

Jiji Kenya announced today that it received two awards: Best Classifieds Website at the Digital Tech 100 Awards and the Safest Online Shopping Platform.

The platform was the only online shopping platform in Kenya to receive perfect five-star scores on safety, and it was the first time in 23 years of surveying that an online shopping platform was recognized in the Transport and Logistics Excellence awards, organised by the Safety Plus Ltd.

Judged by experts from all industries, the Transport and Logistics Excellence Awards celebrates the very best when it comes to safety in their operations, recognising businesses that lead the way in creating outstanding safety experiences for customers.

After being shortlisted for the second time in a row at the Digital Tech 100 awards, Jiji Kenya  beat off competition to win ‘Best Classifieds Website of the Year.’ This is the fourth time that Jiji Kenya has won this highly coveted award since it set up shop in Kenya in March 2020.

The Top 100 Digital Tech Companies Awards (formerly Digital Tech Excellence Awards) recognizes and celebrates outstanding companies in the provision of digital tech-based solutions.

Grace Gikonyo, Head of Public Relations, said, “Jiji Kenya has indeed won the hearts of Kenyans, and we are humbled by the immense support we are receiving from our buyers and sellers. We are delighted to receive two awards on the same day. It’s a great acknowledgement of our collaborative efforts to deliver a great online experience for our buyers and sellers.”

They have all types of categories ranging from Electronics, Vehicles, Property, Home, Furniture & Appliances to Fashion, Health & Beauty, etc.
