Gov’t Announces Hundreds Of Jobs With Salaries Ranging Up To Ksh170k

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced hundreds of job openings in different government departments, with salaries ranging from Ksh31,270 and Ksh170,000. The openings feature the Ministry of Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry of Public Service is seeking to hire two deputy directors for research and partnership who will earn a basic salary of between Ksh99,900 and Ksh169,140. On top, successful candidates will get a house allowance of between Ksh20,000 and Ksh50,000 per month depending on the station, and a commuter allowance worth Ksh16,000.

The Ministry will also employ a deputy director for Community Integration and Peace Building who will earn a basic salary of Ksh99,900 – Ksh169,140 per month. The officeholder is also entitled to a house allowance of Ksh20,000 – Ksh50,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh16,000.

PSC has also announced a vacancy for deputy director, strategic resource development with a salary of between Ksh99,900 – Ksh169,140. The office bearer will also get a house allowance of between Ksh20, 000 – Ksh50,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh16,000 monthly.

The Ministry of Public Service is also set to hire two programme officers for research and partnerships, with a remuneration ranging between Ksh31,270 and Ksh41,260 per month, a house allowance of between Ksh4,200 -and Ksh10,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh4,000.

In addition, the Ministry will hire two programme officer in charge of strategic resource development earning a basic salary ranging between Ksh31,270 and Ksh41,260 monthly, a house allowance ranging between Ksh4,200 and Ksh10,000 and a commuter allowance worth Ksh4,000.

On the same note, the Ministry will hire a programme officer to head the Community Integration and Peace Building department earning a basic salary of Ksh31,270 – Ksh41,260. The successful candidate will be entitled to a house allowance of between Ksh4,200 and Ksh10,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh4,000.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hire at least 100 Foreign Service Cadet/Third Secretary Cadets, with a basic salary of between Ksh31,270 and Ksh41,260, a house allowance of between Ksh4,200 – Ksh10,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh4,000 per month.

Interested candidates should submit their applications before the end of business day November 22, 2021.
