Family Bank has moved to reassure its customers that their funds are safe saying that no money was lost in an attempted hack of its systems.

In a statement to newsrooms, the bank’s Acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Charles Njuguna said that the illegal transactions which were limited to a few accounts were blocked.

“These were instantly obstructed by our protected I.T. framework. After quick inside examination by our group, we were rapidly ready to recognize (the) culprits,” said the CFO.

He added that the bank later reported the suspects who were rounded up and charged in court.
