NTV’s Bull’s Eye makes a comeback as Emmanuel Juma returns

NTV’s popular political satire show, Bull’s Eye, is set to make a comeback this Friday with the station saying it will be bigger and better.

Produced by veteran editor Emmanuel Juma, who recently made a return to Nation Centre, after being retrenched early this year, the show airs every 9am after the prime time news with a repeat after the 1pm news on Saturday.

Before it was discontinued, the show which airs clips of comical episodes from the political front had run for over 12 years. It first aired in 2005 after Juma joined NTV from KTN where he had a similar show, Parting Shot.

It was rated among the top 10 TV shows in Kenya. Juma, who is considered the father of political satire, was rehired last month from Switch TV, a Kenya Redcross station.
