Vivo V19 Officially Goes on Sale in Kenya

After Launching the Vivo V19 in the country on June 24, 2020, Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Vivo Kenya has started selling the device after placing it on pre –order for three weeks.

The device, that comes with a Dual Punch Hole Camera is retailing across the country at a price of Ksh40,999, in Gleam Black and Sleek Silver options.  

The V19 also comes with an Ultra O Screen design with and in-display fingerprint sensor under the AMOLED screen of the phone.

The V19’s dual front camera comprises of a 32MP main camera and an 8MP super wide-angle while the Quad Camera at the rear is made up of a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera.

“Having the device available in the market will now have Kenyans access our products at their convenience, which is in line with our vision of providing every Kenyan with affordable yet sophisticated devices with a great experience,” Vivo Kenya CEO Arthur Xian said.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 712 processor, while equipped with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 4500mAh battery capacity which comes with 33W vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology that enables a 0 to 54 percent charge in just 30 minutes. 

Vivo is one of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers that has captured the Kenyan market by offering quality specifications at a lower price than other manufacturers.

Xiaomi, OPPO and Tecno are the other manufacturers that have made headway giving the traditional players a run for their money.
