The company CEO, Reuben Kimani announced about the festive season campaign as the company was launching its new Head Office in Le’mac Building Westlands. Mr. Kimani said that the informal sector which constitutes 82.7% of employment needs a place to call home the most. He added saying that motivate Username to provide these solutions for the informally employed.

“Kenya is among the low and middle-income countries where small and informal businesses make up the majority of all enterprises. The informal sector represents 82.7% of employment including a mother selling tomatoes, a group of young men running a car wash and a young man operating a motorcycle taxi among others. When they close their day to day activities they need a place to call home. Our desire this season is to give such families an opportunity to own a home and enjoy their holiday,” the Username boss remarked.

Reuben was referring to the need to provide more affordable properties in the urban areas that have continued to witness population growth which exerts pressure on the available housing. The population in the low and middle-income segment have been left out due to the existence of unaffordable properties in the market.

“To qualify for a guaranteed Mbuzi in the Christmas Mbuzi with Username, you are only required to buy cash in any of the Company projects. As for existing clients, they are required to complete their outstanding payments. The ultimate winner for a holiday trip to Thailand, Mombasa and Maasai Mara will be determined through a draw that will be done in January 2020.”

“Last year during our Christmas Campaign our client Anne Lagat won a holiday trip for 2 to Dubai, James Omari won a fully paid holiday trip for 2 to Mombasa and Ronald Maathai who won a similar holiday trip to Maasai Mara. This is a clear indication that indeed, we are. A Tradition of Trust,” Reuben concluded.

The new office is expected to improve the working environment for Username family while ensuring that clients are served in an effective and efficient manner during inquiring, documentation process and collection of title deeds.
