Tuskys launch Sh400 million ‘Black Friday’ promo

A major customer reward campaign by retailer Tuskys, in conjunction with local and international suppliers is slated to begin on Thursday August 30 and carry on into the weekend.

The campaign dubbed ‘Black Friday’ by Tusker Mattresses will be the final leg for the ongoing Tuskys Gigantic Sale. The retailer says discounts of up to 50% on a range of products will comprise the grand sale set to take place in Nairobi, Juja and Eldoret.

Tusker Mattresses Group CEO, Mr. Dan Githua said the Tuskys Gigantic Sale Grand Finale has received a major boost from local and international suppliers who are providing electronics, furniture and related household goods for sale.

The support of retail suppliers, Githua explained has served to inspire the recovery of the local retail market which had suffered a slowdown last year.

Githua also said 400 sofa sets, 800 dining table sets, 1000 entry level and 600 premium Television sets, 100 washing machines, 1500 microwaves, 500 Refrigerators and 400 cookers will be presented by Tuskys at up to 50% discounts.

Tuskys said suppliers have over the last seven weeks pumped more than Ksh400 million providing retail products from brands such as Samsung, LG, Kabras Sugar, Menengai Soap Ohms, Luminarc, OSRAM, Moulinex, Regal, Tefal, Beko, Jikokoa, Redberry, Hotpoint, Ramtons, Kings Collection, Slumberland, Vitafoam, Dettol, Brookside, Dawaat, Mortein Doom, Rina cooking oil, Soko Ugali, Huggies, Kenchic, Harpic and Persil.

The support of retail suppliers, Githua explained has served to inspire the recovery of the local retail market which had suffered a slowdown last year. He also added that the items on offer during the promo are not part of a clearance sale.

“This is not a clearance sale. All the items on offer are in-season items presented for sale by suppliers keen to appreciate the support of our customers.”

The Tuskys Gigantic Sale Grand Finale will be hosted at Tuskys T-mall and Tuskys Greenspan in Nairobi, Tuskys United in Kisumu, Tuskys Juja and Tuskys Eldo Centre in Eldoret.

According to initial performance highlights by the retailer, Tuskys United Kisumu is leading terms of store performance, followed by Tuskys T-mall, Tuskys Imara, Tuskys Greenspan, Tuskys Midtown Nakuru and Tuskys Juja Mall.
