Standard Group has taken another hit after popular radio presenter Alex Mwakideu quit Radio Maisha.

In a message to colleagues, Captain Mwakideu expressed his sadness in leaving the station, but noted that whatever has a beginning must come to an end.

The “Maisha Asubuhi” presenter is headed to Milele FM, which has been bolstering its ranks in recent days as Mediamax Network Ltd readies to take on the competition. It has already grabbed comedians Wilbroda and Jalang’o as well as Francis Luchivya and Joyce Gituro from Royal Media Services.

Here is Mwakideu’s farewell message:

“Kilicho na mwanzo HAKIKOSI mwisho.
