The Lake Naivasha Resort has unveiled a state-of-the-art auditorium with a capacity of 500 people.

The facility is an expansive, air-conditioned space, fitted with top-notch technology, and advanced in-built audio-visual equipment that will complement the already impressive RMK Conference Centre in terms of comfort and capacity.

Lake Naivasha Resort will be one of the few locations in the region boasting amenities of this calibre. This new auditorium puts Lake Naivasha Resort on the international map of the best MICE Facilities.

Lake Naivasha Resort Operations Director, Ms Winnie Wambui, was particularly optimistic about what the future holds for Naivasha as an event destination during the auditorium unveiling.

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council’s (WTTC) report business tourism spending is expected to grow by 6.2% in 2018 to Sh195.3 billion and rise by 5.4% per annum to Sh330.9 billion in 2028.

“Naivasha is putting together quite the reputation as a go-to destination for corporate retreats, product launches, team-buildings, plays, musical concerts, festivals, religious gatherings, excursions and as an overall event-friendly location. We want to cement our position as the go-to facility in hosting events globally,” said Ms Wambui.

The RMK auditorium also promises to give event planners and organizers less headache when putting together events. Erratic weather patterns, less than ideal sanitary arrangements and lapses in security are some of the issues the indoor venue has addressed.
