Former Tahidi High star Omosh, real name Kamau Kinuthia, was on Monday, February 15 gifted a piece of land days after opening up to the media on his dire financial situation.
Real estate firm Zero Hero Properties came to his rescue and offered him a 40 by 80ft parcel of land in Malaa along Kang’undo Road. Omosh had in the past week opened up to reporters on his woes, revealing that he was facing eviction from his home in Kayole, Nairobi over rent arrears in excess of Ksh100,000.
At the site, an overwhelmed Omosh couldn’t hide his excitement and shed tears of joy as he thanked all who supported him.
He revealed that since opening up, he had been receiving contributions from Kenyans in the country and even those in the diaspora via mobile money. He further thanked celebrities including comedian Jalang’o and singer Guardian Angel for coming to his aid.
“I did not know I had so many friends,” Omosh noted.

While revealing the difficult phase of life he was in, Omosh had also stated that he was dealing with challenges in his marriage, citing his inability to provide for his family.

Omosh noted that the Covid-19 p******c, in particular, dealt a b**w to the entertainment sector and affected his income streams.
He disclosed that he even considered taking his own life as the situation grew worse.
Omosh also admitted that he had long battled a********m and managed to fight the a*******n.
“Have you ever been in that situation where you are walking while crying? That is what I go through. Most of the times I leave the house well dressed but going nowhere.
“I even contemplated committing s*****e last year but a few friends came through and talked to me,” Omosh revealed.
A representative for Zero Hero Properties urged him to start building a house on the piece of land. Omosh is married to two wives and has five children.
