Emirates appoints new sales manager in Kenya

Emirates has announced the appointment of Nafisa Salim as the new Sales Manager, Kenya with effective from February 1.

Nafisa will head the Emirates’ Kenya Commercial team reporting to Hendrik Du Preez the Country Manager.

She has served with Emirates since February 1998 as Reservation and Ticketing Agent. In her time at Emirates, Nafisa has risen through the ranks having worked in the commercial department as the Senior Sales Assistant and later the Senior Sales Executive. In 2015,  Nafisa was appointed the Key Accounts Manager championing the Nairobi-based sales team.

“I am very excited about this new appointment and look forward to working with the talented team to ensure Emirates’ continued growth and success in the Kenyan market,” she said.

Commenting on Nafisa’s appointment, Du Preez, the Emirates Country Manager said: “Nafisa has demonstrated her zeal and hardworking nature over the years making her deserving of this new appointment. I know her determination will help champion her team to greater heights.”

Customers travelling on Emirates can continue to expect world class service and hospitality from the airline’s multi-national cabin crew, while enjoying complimentary gourmet meals and beverages. My Emirates Pass has also expanded the programme with more partners – customers can now enjoy special discounts at over 250 world class restaurants and hotel dining outlets in Dubai. Exclusive offers are also available on a range of leisure activities including visits to championship golf courses, thrilling theme parks or luxury spas across the city.

EK 719 departs Dubai International Airport every day at 1045hrs and arrives at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 1445hrs. The return flight, EK720, leaves Nairobi at 1640hrs and lands in Dubai at 2240hrs.  The second flight EK 721 departs Dubai International Airport every day at 1610hrs and arrives in Nairobi at 2010hrs. The second return flight, EK722, leaves Nairobi at 2250hrs and lands in Dubai at 0450hrs.
