Don Bosco Gichana, the flamboyant businessman known for high-profile storms and political intrigues, last night announced his grand return to business.
At an event held at Azure Hotels in Westlands, Nairobi, Don Bosco sat next to his business magnate, Joe Kariuki. The event was the official launch of Joe Kariuki’s latest company, 51 Capital, which deals in online forex trading.
Don Bosco, who endured five years in prison in Tanzania, looked every bit ready to take over the market that made him a noticeable figure in Nairobi before he was jailed in Tanzania on financial crime charges. Don Bosco returned to Kenya early October 2019, two weeks after being released.
New way to make money
Dressed in a Ksh87,000 Yves Saint Laurent black suit, white shirt and a red tie, Mr Bosco spoke passionately about the future of forex trading, the benefits of cryptocurrency, the emergence of new economic trends and the lucrative online forex trading.
“Forex trading is the future,” he said. “It’s the latest backbone of online business and the new frontier for emerging business leaders. The markets are open, the conditions are perfect and the benefits are immense.”
The event, which was graced by top business leaders from across the business spectrum, saw the guests addressed by 51 Capital CEO Joe Kariuki.
But Don Bosco appeared to silently steal the show and as whatever he said sank in, it was hard to imagine he just left prison.
“Business is now online,” he added. “And none works better than Forex Trading. This is a business that will comfortably earn you a clean $2000 in your house in a single day. This is the future. You’re looking at the future.”

Mr Kariuki said forex trading was on the path of growth and urged Kenyans to venture in it.
“After our monumental win in Sydney, Australia, where we emerged second best in Africa as far as forex trading is concerned, we decided we have to make some pretty big noise about this and make an official launch of the company.”
