Airtel has increased the data offerings on its monthly UnlimiNet product by more than 400% from 500MB to 2.5GB and 50% more on voice minutes for only Ksh 500. This will enable its customers to have more access to the Internet and do more at the same rate as they paid in the past. The company also increased data for its UnlimiNet 1,000 and 2000 bundles.

The new UnlimiNet 500 bundle will now offer 2.5GB worth of data, 150 minutes and 1,000 SMS, the UnlimiNet 1,000 will offer 8GB data from 6GB, 400 minutes and 2,000 SMS whereas the UnlimiNet 2,000 will offer 20GB from 15GB, 1200 minutes and 10,000 SMS.

The UnlimiNet offers are pegged on choice and convenience which allows customers to do more- have more fun, have more conversations and have access to more entertainment. These new offers emphasise the company’s commitment to constantly innovate and customize products and services that add value to its customers.

In a statement, Airtel Kenya CEO Prasanta Das Sarma said: “The revamped UnlimiNet bundle plans are based on recent trends that show a significant rise in data usage for both social and business needs and are aimed at offering more and more value for money for all voice, text and data services, depending on the varying needs of our customers.”

He also emphasised that customers will continue to enjoy more quality products and services as a result of the expansion of the 4G network in over 40 towns and upgrade of its 2G and 3G sites across the country; that are geared towards enhancing customers’ experience.

The revamped bundles are an extension of the now popular Airtel UnlimiNet bundles that was launched in February 2014. The product gives customers the freedom and flexibility to choose from a wide range of affordable daily, weekly and monthly bundles.
