Popular content creator and influencer Maureen Waititu has landed a new TV job at Y254 TV. Sharing the exciting news with her fans on social media, Waititu revealed that the show would focus on parenthood and the challenges that come with it.
“Loves, He has done it again!!!! This is one of the exciting projects that I’ll be working on in 2021 and I am so so excited! Catch me soon on the @y254_channel where I’ll be hosting a reality show on all matters parenthood and the struggles that come with it,” she wrote.
Waititu called out to all parents who have an extraordinary experience and would like to share their stories to reach out to her. They are to be hosted on the show together with specialists so as to come up with solutions to the issues that arise with parenthood.
This show comes few months after Maureen said goodbye to Rembo TV, where she hosted a show dubbed Minji Minji. The opportunity to work at Rembo answered Maureen’s long-time prayer of being on TV.
Maureen rose to fame a few years ago after she started a couple’s YouTube channel with fitness enthusiast Frankie Kiarie. They have two amazing boys together. The couple, however, eventually broke up.
The mother of two mentioned that everything happened fast, as Frankie moved on to see another woman, and taking in this was not easy for her.

She opted to start her own YouTube channel that has since grown tremendously. With this, Maureen has been able to land numerous endorsements and ambassadorial roles.
Maureen was recently appointed Lipa Later Kenya’s ambassador, a local service that offers hassle-free shopping in over five hundred partner stores.
In August 2020 Maureen Waititu and Milly Chebby launched a joint show on their YouTube channels. The show is dubbed This is Mamiz. The show, they said, is a safe space for mothers and they will focus on inspiring and guiding women on matters of motherhood on the show.
Her new show dabbed The Nest will air every Tuesday on y254 TV, the youth-centric station owned by state broadcaster KBC.
