Huduma Tech Boss Martin Mirero Quits to Join Ajua

Customer experience company Ajua on Wednesday, February 3 announced that former Huduma Kenya Chief Innovation Officer Martin Mirero would be joining the company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

He will execute his role by leading the development of Ajua’s advanced technologies and drive the infrastructure growth of the company. He is armed with 15 years in mid and
executive-level ICT leadership.

Martin will also lead the engineering team and manage the scaling agenda of Ajua’s technology platform as they build Ajua’s Integrated CX platform across multiple geographies on the continent.

Mirero is expected to use his proficiency in interpersonal connections, processes and information technology to create business and consumer solutions that are a value-add and drive to positive change for organizations.

During his time at Huduma Kenya, Mirero established cutting-edge software development practices for product development and delivery within the government. By doing so, he steered the architecture and scaling of Huduma’s end-user-computing environment that now serves up to 1.5 million customers per month.

Speaking on the appointment, Ajua CEO, Kenfield Griffith elaborated, “We are thrilled to
have Martin Mirero join our executive team as Ajua’s Chief Technology Officer. At a time
when businesses are meeting their customers digitally to maintain the human to human
connection, Martin will play a critical role in scaling Ajua’s platform to drive the growth of
businesses on the continent, to deliver on the customer experience promise.”

Martin too expressed his elation to join the Ajua community in transforming the integrated customer experience space in Africa.

“I look forward to working with a talented team to bring this vision to life and deliver significant value for our great customers and partners on this continent,” he added.

Martin has worked in both the private, government and public sectors with vast experience in multiple agencies in some of the largest and more vibrant economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.

He is the holder of an MSc in Computer Science (Distributed Information Systems) from the University of Essex, England, and a BSc Computer Science Hons) degree.

Ajua is Africa’s first Integrated Customer Experience company for businesses on the continent with the aim of bridging the gap between businesses and their customers.
