Kenyan Agency Secures Two Finalist Spots at 2025 SABRE Awards Africa

Winnie Gor Communications Africa (WGCA), a leading pan-African strategic communications and public relations agency, has been named a finalist in two categories at the prestigious 2025 SABRE Awards Africa.

Organized by PRovoke Media, SABRE Awards are considered the world’s most prestigious and comprehensive public relations awards programme. It celebrates campaigns that demonstrate the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity, and business results globally.

The recognition underscores WGCA’s commitment to delivering communication excellence and impactful results for its clients across the continent, following its strategic re-branding in 2024 to reflect its Pan-African vision.

In the finalist nominations, WGCA has been shortlisted in the Eastern Africa geographic category for the ‘Tujiamini’ Campaign by SportPesa against four other entries and pitted against two other entries in the Digital Campaign category for the ‘Talk To Me Direct’ Podcast by Luminate Africa.

With affiliate and partner offices in 17 countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia, WGCA has consistently demonstrated its commitment to shaping narratives that resonate across Africa’s diverse markets.

The 2025 SABRE Awards Africa ceremony, that attracts over 500 entries annually and highlighting the best work originating from across the continent, will take place on June 12 in Mombasa, Kenya, during the annual African Public Relations Association (APRA) conference.

WGCA’s double nomination underscores the firm’s strategic positioning to serve clients including Individuals, SMES, Corporates, Development agencies, Governments and Non-profits seeking deep market understanding and top-tier communications support across the continent.
