MYDAWA, the revolutionary e-health platform that enables people to buy drugs using their mobile phones, has launched a programme to reward new and returning customers who purchase healthcare, fitness and wellness products from their website or the MYDAWA app.

Customers who spend Kshs1,000 or more on prescription, non-prescription drugs, and wellness products will get a Ksh500 discount on their next purchase. This scheme is part of the wider plan by the company to grow its customer base through a focused recruitment drive targeting 20,000 new customers in the next three months.

“With this incentive programme we want to express our gratitude to our early adopting customers and have them experience our service and wide range of products. We are standing by our promise of delivering quality, affordable medicine and health products, conveniently and securely,” said MYDAWA Managing Director Tony Wood.

The MYDAWA app was launched in Nairobi on 28th March 2017 and has had over 16,000 downloads since launch. The platform has also expanded and there are now over 1,000 products, increasing daily, ranging from prescription and over the counter drugs to wellness products including multivitamins, supplements, personal care, cosmetics and hygiene products.

MYDAWA has also increased its distribution network with over 180 pharmacies in Nairobi that serve as collection points for customers who order products from the platform.

Consumers can access the platform online on www.MYDAWA.com or via the MYDAWA app, where they can purchase health care products or prescription drugs by uploading the prescription onto the platform. Payments are made via M-pesa, and the products are then delivered to a collection point of their convenience. There are no M-pesa charges when making payments and delivery is free.
