Bolt Food has expanded its operations into Juja and Thika towns, by onboarding new restaurants and food joints in the regions.
Among the new restaurants on its platform include KFC Thika, Chicken Inn Ananas, Caff’e Leo, Rhapsody Pizza & Cake House , Chicken Inn Thika Bazaar, Pete’s Café Thika, Pork City Thika, Supercut Restaurant, The Food Palace, Pork Masters Thika, Mama’s Pride Lounge, Bhajia House Thika, Milly’s Pot, and Shekinah Café.
“Our expansion is a result of continued positive feedback from our customers on the convenience, affordability, quality and great selection of restaurants that our platform offers. Our growth contributes to the provision of viable economic opportunities to thousands of people in their dynamic ecosystems, including expanding the restaurant customer base and creating job opportunities for thousands of couriers,” said Edgar K Kitur, Country Manager, Bolt Food.
Since its launch over a year ago, Bolt Food has onboarded over 4000 couriers on its platform thereby, creating employment opportunities in the gig economy, for the youth in the country. Additionally, Bolt Food has also continued to facilitate training for its couriers to ensure professionalism, service delivery, effective communication, food safety, and hygiene.
The expansion brings Bolt Food’s growing network to over 80 estates within Nairobi and its metropolis, and over 1250 restaurants where customers can conveniently order their food via the app.
“As we now expand to Juja, Thika and its environs, our pledge remains to maintain our service excellence for all our customers, restaurant and courier partners,” Kitur added.
Bolt is now encouraging more users to join the platform and support the businesses on the Bolt Food platform.
