Zhejiang Export Online Expo Showcases Consumer Goods

The Covid-19 pandemic has created an environment where businesses need to be innovative to meet the challenges of the new normal.

Online exhibitions and buyer-seller meeting platforms have emerged as the go-to destinations for those who want to network, expand and diversify their businesses.

In line with this, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, and Zhejiang Broad International Convention and Exhibition Co. Ltd have announced an expo for stakeholders in the consumer goods industry to meet and generate business. The expo targets the consumer goods industry in Kenya and East Africa.

The virtual expo will be conducted in East Africa from 21st to 25th September 2020 at 11:00-13:00 hours.

Supported by Smart Expos, CREAT and Zippy Events Solutions (K) Ltd, the expo will see top manufacturers from Zhejiang province showcasing the latest range of their products to African buyers.

There will be more than 50 exhibitors from multiple segments of consumer goods industry, such as Wall Clock, Disposable Mop, Shoes, Shoe Racks, Coat Hanger, Cake Moulds, U-shaped Massage Pillows, Mop Heads, Stainless Steel Bottles, Coffee Pots, Vegetable Chopper, PP Woven Bags, Cable Tie and Cable Clip.

Other goods to be showcased include Baby Tableware, Scientific and Educational Equipment, Electric Scooter, Towel, Luggage, Trolley Case, Hair Dryer, Hair Straightener, Bakeware, Cookware, Hats, Face Shields, KN95 Mask, Outdoor Jacket, Car Air Freshener and Pet Food among others.

“This is an excellent platform to strengthen the trade between Africa and China, at a time when business has hit a new low due to the restrictions on travel and transportation.

The expo will give a boost to business opportunities and will help stakeholders in exploring new avenues to diversify and expand in the current business environment. The range of products has been selected keeping in mind the requirements of the Kenyan and African market,” notes the organizers.
