Zenka Finance has been recognized for making it easier for households and traders to access transformational short-term loans and deepening financial inclusion in the Annual Mobile App Awards.
The digital lender has emerged overall winner in the Interface design and user experience category for running a user-friendly mobile App. The Zenka App leverages smart digital technologies including an Artificial Intelligent powered Chatbot that revolutionizes how its growing number of customers are served.
It has also bagged two silver awards on the Loan App of the year and Social Impact categories to highlight how its personalized finance technologies are satisfying user experiences, improving lives, and transforming society.

Zenka offers first-time borrowers cost-free loans with up to 61 days repayment tenure- coming with a two-installment payment option. Those wishing to extend repayment tenure get at least 7 days and a maximum of 30 days.

The Awards organized by Vibrant Digital, are meant to recognize and celebrate the best practices in the mobile industry by showcasing incredible mobile apps developed in the country for the Kenyan market.
It focused mainly on mobile app design, animation and user experiences across a wide range of categories.
This latest accolade, adds to Zenka’s awards cabinet following another first in the company last year.
In December 2020, the digital lender was named the Most Outstanding Mobile Loans App of the Year 2020 by Jubilant Stewards of Africa (JSA), a Non-Governmental Organization, -a continental organization- for setting the pace in Kenya’s digital lending market.
The year-long appraisal celebrates industry leaders for their innovation, quality products, services, job creation, exemplary leadership, growing the economy and transforming the society.
