Which way Samidoh? Artist eyes Ol Joro Orok MP seat

Musician Samuel Ndirangu, whose stage name is “Samidoh”, has decided to braze Kenya’s rapid political storm by formally saying he will vie for the Nyandarua County’s Ol Joro Orok Member of Parliament (MP) seat in the 2027 General Election.

Samidoh said in a statement issued on Wednesday, August 19, that, “I am a son of Ol Joro Orok. This is home. This is where my journey began.”

He resigned from the Administration Police Service in July 2025 to majorly focus on musical.activities and politics.

“Ladies and gentlemen, good people of Nyandarua County, I am humbled to offer my candidature for the position of Member of Parliament for Ol Joro Orok Constituency” he explained.
