Shabana FC will unveil its new squad for the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Gusii Stadium.

The event, known as Shabana Day, will bring together fans, players, and the community in a celebration of football and culture.

The club said the day will give supporters the first chance to meet the team that will carry their hopes in the new season.

It will also double up as a fundraising event to support the team’s activities. Fans can expect entertainment, cultural showcases, and the launch of a documentary that tells the story of Shabana’s journey, challenges, and achievements.

The highlight of the day will be an international friendly pitting Shabana FC against Tanzania’s Pamba Jiji FC. The match is expected to pull a huge crowd to Gusii Stadium. Tickets have been set at Ksh 300 for regular entry and Ksh 1,000 for VIP.

In preparation for the new campaign, Shabana has been active in the transfer market. The club recently welcomed striker Humphrey Obino, describing him as a player who brings speed, creativity, and sharp finishing to the attack.

“We are thrilled to unveil Humphrey Obino as the latest addition to our squad! Known for his explosive offensive play and eye for goal, Obino is set to add pace, creativity, and firepower to our attack as we gear up for the 2025/2026 season,” the club said.

Earlier, Shabana had secured the services of Biron ‘Ngolo’ Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks. They also announced the signing of midfielder David Odoyo, popularly known as Daddy CDM, from Tusker FC. In their statement, the club noted,

“We are delighted to announce the arrival of David Odoyo, fondly known as Daddy CDM, who officially joins the Shabana FC Family from Tusker FC! A powerhouse in midfield, Daddy CDM brings grit, composure, and experience that will strengthen our engine room as we chase greatness this season.”

Shabana Day will mark the start of a new chapter for the Kisii-based club. With new signings, renewed energy, and massive support from their loyal fans.
