Users of the recently launched Safaricom Platinum service, which will be available on the mySafaricom App, will enjoy affordable data, SMS and voice bundles as well as benefit from partners such as EatOut, Shell & Ticketsasa.

The partnership with EatOut will see Platinum customers enjoying up to 25% off at over 100 restaurants in Nairobi, simply by checking in at restaurants with their MySafaricom app.

Speaking at the media launch at Safaricom House, Sylvia Mulinge, Director Consumer Business Unit, said: “After successfully rolling out Safaricom Blaze for the younger market, we wanted to focus our attention on the discerning professionals. Platinum offers the simplicity of managing your lifestyle through your phone and rewards you where it matters most.”

To take advantage of these rewards, existing mySafaricom App users can select and purchase the Platinum plan of their choice using airtime or M-Pesa. Platinum plans range from Ksh 2,000 to Ksh 10,000 per month and include data, voice and unlimited SMS. The new app also provides the convenience of managing bill payments from the comfort of your home or office.
