Renault Kenya unveils the 2017 new Koleos

Renault Kenya has unveiled the New Koleo SUV to the local market. The French brand’s SUV now enters a hotly contested local segment comprising of other brands in its category. The new Renault Koleos comes in a competitive price for cars in its category with outstanding features that will offer best driving experience for car enthusiasts in Kenya.

The New Koleos is a classy looking car, which adopts the latest Renault family face with a broad chrome grille incorporating the central Renault logo and styling cues are lifted from the Megane and the Kadjar, both launched in Kenya last year. The Koleos strengthens the brand’s position where the SUV cars remain the choice amongst motorists looking for a comfortable and spacious vehicle that reflects their social status.

Commenting on the new car, Renault Kenya Brand Manager Jonathan Santos said the Koleos boast of unique features and aims to uplift the brand perception towards all aspects of the new brand identity with competitive price and unmatched features.

“We are confident that the Koleos will resonate well with discerning Kenyan. The car is fit for city use, perfect for road trips and off-road adventures, can be for office daily and family use, it’s an all rounded type of car,” added Santos.

The Koleos is packed with various unique features acclaimed four-wheel drive technology, off-road capability thanks to high ground clearance (210 mm) and a refined interior equipped with the segment’s very best journey-enhancing appointments.

It also boasts of class-leading cabin space thanks to a wheelbase of 2.71 metres and a total length of 4.67 metres as well as a connected experience with the R-LINK 2 multimedia tablet.

As standard, all models get Renault’s enhanced driver experience with interior ambient lights and ultimate sound system (Arkamys or Bose®). Naturally safety is also a standard since this model boasts a 5-star ratting in the Euro Ncap crash test as it is equipped with front, side and curtain airbags, Isofix system, Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) Electronic Traction Control (ETC), Blind Spot Warning and Hill Start Assist as well as a rear parking camera with front and rear parking sensors.
