Capital FM Web Editor and lifestyle writer/photographer Susan Wong is leaving the media house. Wong announced the news on her Twitter handle Tuesday evening.

It is not yet clear where she is headed to but in her response to a question from one of her followers, she indicated that she is leaving the county.

Wong was widely known for Our2Cents web-series and stories on interesting lifestyle issues, mostly co-presenting with fashion and lifestyle blogger This Is Ess, aka Sharon Mundia.

Apart from Our2Cents, she also produced digital programmes such as Tastemakers and SusanEats and appeared as a guest on television lifestyle productions as the foodie around town.

During her nine years at Capital FM, Wong helped grow the platform to its current over one million page views per month. She had the enviable opportunity to share her culinary escapades, immersive travel adventures and dynamic lifestyle trends that emerge from across East Africa – helping curate the conversation on lifestyle news and experiences.

Wong, who holds Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, previously worked as radio presenter at Afro FM and communications consultant, Canadian International Development Agency.

In 2016, she was hand-picked by Airbnb to be one of the pioneers of Airbnb Trips as a City Host of Nairobi – setting a new standard for traveling.
