On World Toilet Day, RUBiS Energy Kenya unveiled its newly designed washroom facilities at RUBiS Narok Service Station, strategically positioned along one of Kenya’s major transport highways and key tourist routes. The company said this reflects RUBiS’ promise of “making your life’s journey better” by redefining the customer experience with a focus on convenience, comfort, and artistic expression for travellers on Kenyan roads.

Designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind, the modern toilet facilities at RUBiS Narok cater to motorists along the bustling Mai Mahiu-Narok highway. RUBiS Energy Kenya management said the amenities are built to offer more than just convenience; they aim to transform the travel experience, setting new standards for hygiene, comfort, and visual appeal.

“At RUBiS, we believe every journey deserves moments of rest and rejuvenation,” said Mr Olivier Sabrié, CEO for East Africa and Group Managing Director of RUBiS Energy Kenya. “These modern washrooms are designed to make travel more enjoyable by providing travellers with clean, comfortable, and inspiring spaces to refresh.”

Mr Sabrié said each facility’s exterior is adorned with captivating artwork inspired by the local culture, bringing to life the beauty of Kenya’s diverse regions and enhancing the traveller’s experience through meaningful visual storytelling.

Strategically located along key routes, these facilities serve Kenya’s busiest travel corridors, acting as gateways to renowned destinations such as the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Following Narok, RUBiS Kenol will soon open a similar facility to enhance travel along the Nairobi-Nyeri highway, with additional washrooms planned for RUBiS stations on major highways.

This initiative demonstrates RUBiS’ dedication to delivering a comprehensive experience to customers — from refuelling to refreshment — ensuring that every journey is memorable.

Launching this initiative on World Toilet Day emphasizes RUBiS’ commitment to improving sanitation and accessibility. This initiative not only highlights the global significance of clean, accessible washrooms but also demonstrates RUBiS’ dedication to making every journey safer, more comfortable, and more memorable for all travellers across Kenya.
