Nairobi Securities Exchange Appoints Liaison Group CEO as Independent Director

The Board of the Nairobi Securities Exchange PLC (NSE) has announced the appointment of Mr. Thomas Mulwa as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Mr. Mulwa is the Chief Executive Officer of Liaison Group. He joined the organization in 1991 and was appointed CEO in 1999.

Mr. Mulwa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate MBA from the University of Leicester, UK. He is also a RIMS Fellow, recognized by the Global Risk Management Institute Inc.

He also holds leadership roles in several economic and social enterprises across Africa and is widely recognized as a seasoned entrepreneur.

“The Board takes this opportunity to warmly welcome Mr. Mulwa and looks forward to his invaluable contribution to the continued growth and success of the NSE,” the NSE said in a statement.
