Multichoice Launches Timeless Dizi Channel on DStv

DStv has launched the new Timeless Dizi Channel (TDC) on DStv channel 123, from today, 2nd November 2020. The channel, owned by SPI International, will be available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact across Africa.

“This Turkish pop-up channel is such an exciting opportunity for us to offer a new and unique genre of content to our customers as part of our commitment to bring the best of the world back home,” says Nancy Matimu, Managing Director MultiChoice Kenya.

“As Africa’s most-loved storyteller, we will continue to invest in both local and international content that excites our customers, both young and old, and offers the best entertainment at great value.”

TDC offers hundreds of hours of critically acclaimed and popular dramas that have influenced the landscape of Turkish and global television. These shows include international Emmy Award nominees: Black Money LoveKaradayiKurt Seyit & ShuraThe EndRed ScarfMoms and MothersWings of LoveThe 8th Day, and Kuzgun.

The channel reached more than five million households worldwide within the first year of its launch and continues to increase its footprint across the globe, with recent distribution deals in Switzerland, Nepal, the Middle East, and India.
