Over the weekend, Jimmy Donaldson—globally known as MrBeast and currently the world’s biggest YouTuber—quietly landed in Kenya on a mission of compassion.

Without a whisper online, the American YouTube content creator with over 385 million subscribers slipped into the country under the radar and headed straight to Narok County for a life-changing charitable initiative.

MrBeast visited Oloirien Primary School, where he supported the school feeding programme, donating foodstuffs and cooking a meal that fed all 500 learners that day.

“1,500 people have so far been fed,” said the 26-year-old YouTuber. “The meals you saw us giving away are cost-effective and jam-packed with nutrients, and honestly, way healthier than most meals in America.”

Going forward, he promised, the pupils in the school will be getting free breakfast and lunch every school day, courtesy of his recently posted YouTube video, which he has urged fans to view in large numbers so as to generate enough money to fund the cause.

While at Oloirien, MrBeast was also involved in several infrastructure uplift programmes to improve the local school’s facilities, such as classrooms and study areas, to boost student learning and well-being.

“And because of our meal programme, the school attendance skyrocketed, so it only made sense to upgrade their classrooms.
They have very few desks at the school that some students literally have to sit on rocks.”

For that, before leaving, MrBeast supplied some new desks to the students and presented the school with a new tractor to help in tilling the school farm, to amplify crop production and support the feeding programme.

His visit may have been quiet, but the impact roared loudly in the hearts of many.
