The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) has appointed Eng. Kipkemoi Kibias as its Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 19, 2025.

KETRACO’s Board of Directors Chairman, Capt. Mohamed Abdi announced the decision after consultations with the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, as well as Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi.
