Timothy Munyao, the first Kenyan to earn the AWS Golden Jacket, has founded his own company. Mr Munyao took to LinkedIn to announce that he now serves as the Founder and CEO of Shinrai Technologies, an official AWS (Amazon Web Services) partner.

“This is a significant milestone for me, and I’m honoured to lead a company dedicated to delivering innovative, cloud-driven solutions that empower businesses to thrive in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape,” Mr Munyao said, following his transition to Shinrai Technologies.

Shinrai specialises in cloud computing and software engineering, empowering businesses to harness the full potential of the digital landscape. Under his stewardship, the company promises to deliver scalable cloud solutions, ensuring seamless data integration, enhanced security, and cost efficiency.

Mr Munyao has over 10 years of experience in technology leadership and business strategy. At Shinrai, he brings a deep passion for harnessing cutting-edge technology to tackle real-world challenges. His career has been shaped by building high-performing teams, driving digital transformation, and delivering scalable solutions that create lasting impact for clients worldwide.

Prior to founding Shinrai Technologies, Mr Munyao was the Lead Solutions Architect at Kitsilano Technologies. He spearheaded the design and implementation of complex, scalable cloud architectures, leveraging AWS to meet diverse client needs.

On the technical side, he specialised in crafting robust, secure, and cost-efficient solutions- bridging the gap between innovation and execution. Equally, he thrived in a pre-sales capacity, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical strategies, delivering compelling presentations and building trust that drove successful partnerships.
