At Jumia love is already in the air.
The leading online retailer has organised what it promises to be the world’s largest speed dating event in Kenya. In a country with more single men and woman than married couples, the event is expected to attract huge crowd, including even the not so single!
Jumia will be hosting the event on February 9 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) targeting more than 1500 singles aged between 21-45 years ahead of this year’s Valentine’s Day.
“During Valentine’s day, many Kenyans show love for their nearest and dearest. This year we will be going a step further by not only helping you find the perfect gift for your date, but also help you find your date too” said Jumia Kenya MD Sam Chappatte in a statement.
The event will form part of Jumia’s Valentines Campaign which will run from February 4 to February 14 through which Jumia capitalises on the campaign to boost its business.
