Samsung Electronics is set to excite the market by offering a total of 1TB in smartphone storage with the introduction of the Galaxy Note9 512GB model.

The electronics firm added that there will be a limited number of units for 8GB RAM device, available from Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealers countrywide at a recommended retail price of Ksh 134,999 and will initially be available in black.

Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics said that limited storage was one of the pain points identified by consumers, hence the option of a 512GB variant. Additionally, with expandable storage of up to 512GB via the Micro SD slot, customers of the 512GB variant can get up  to 1TB of storage in totality. “People want to be able to express their style and personality with the joy and peace of mind knowing there is enough room for favourite photos, videos and apps.”

The Galaxy Note9 512GB also comes with a 4,000mAh battery, the largest ever on a flagship Galaxy phone for long-lasting power to use all-day to talk, text, play games and watch movies from morning to night.

Galaxy Note9 is a super powerful smartphone with cutting-edge 10nm processor and support for the fastest network speeds available in the market (up to 1.2 gigabits per second) to stream and download without slowing down. Galaxy Note9 also includes an industry-leading and Samsung developed Water Carbon Cooling system and on-device AI-based performance adjusting algorithm to deliver the powerful yet stable performance.
