Enwealth Trustees Services Limited, a subsidiary of Enwealth Group, has received approval from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to operate as a Licensed Corporate Trustee in Kenya.

As a licensed Corporate Trustee, Enwealth Trustees Services Limited will provide independent trustee and fiduciary services in relation to capital markets transactions and structures, including collective investment schemes, corporate bonds, infrastructure financing structures, structured investment vehicles, and other capital market instruments regulated under the capital markets framework.

“Among the firms granted the Corporate Trustee licenses include Enwealth Trustee Services Limited, which is expected to offer a range of fiduciary and trustee services for Collective Investment Schemes and other private entities, security trustee services in secured transactions and the formation and administration of specialized structures such as special purpose vehicles, securitization trusts, employee benefit trusts (including ESOPs), retirement benefit trusts, escrow accounts, and note trustee services for corporate bonds,” the regulator noted in a media statement issued on May 28, 2026.

According to the CMA, the issuance of additional Corporate Trustee licenses is intended to strengthen fiduciary oversight within Kenya’s capital markets, enhance investor protection, and deepen access to investment services across the country.

“This approval reflects our commitment to contributing meaningfully to the development of robust and globally competitive capital markets financial products in Kenya. We look forward to supporting issuers, investors, and market participants through trusted fiduciary oversight and governance-driven trustee solutions,” Enwealth noted.

Enwealth Trustees Services Limited expressed appreciation to the Capital Markets Authority for its continued regulatory leadership and commitment to strengthening Kenya’s financial markets.
