 Crown Paints Achieves ISO/IEC 27001: 2022 Certification

Crown Paints (K) PLC has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, reinforcing its commitment to information security, data protection, and global governance standards.

Mike Kamau , Managing Director of Certi-Trust, presented the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification to Joshua Ogutu, Group ICT Manager at Crown Paints.

The recognition underscores the company’s commitment to robust information security, data protection, and adherence to global governance standards.

The certification, awarded to Crown by Certi-Trust, affirms the paint maker’s ability to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across its operations.

It also strengthens Crown Paints’ Integrated Management System (IMS), underscoring its commitment to quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

As digital risks continue to evolve, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides a structured framework for identifying and managing information security risks.

For Crown Paints, which operates across multiple East African markets and manages extensive commercial and customer data, the certification signals adherence to globally recognised best practices and regulatory requirements, including Kenya’s Data Protection Act (2019).
