Burberry Plc has unveiled a limited-edition capsule collection developed with the Royal Collection Trust, drawing on the wardrobe and personal style of the late Queen Elizabeth II ahead of the centenary of her birth.
The four-piece range, released Thursday, reflects signature elements associated with the monarch’s public image, including outerwear silhouettes, heritage tartan references and motifs linked to her well-documented affection for corgis. A gabardine car coat manufactured in Yorkshire anchors the collection, accompanied by silk and cashmere accessories featuring updated iterations of Burberry’s house check and hand-painted imagery of Balmoral Castle.

The launch comes as London prepares for Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, a major exhibition opening in April at the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace. The show will feature roughly 200 items, including archival Burberry pieces worn by the monarch and historical documentation of past commissions.
The British luxury fashion house which received a royal warrant in 1955, has continued to leverage its association with the British monarchy as part of its brand positioning strategy. The new release follows last year’s collaboration with the King’s Foundation, inspired by gardens at Highgrove House.

The collection is available online and in selected global retail locations, underscoring the luxury sector’s ongoing focus on heritage-driven storytelling to support demand amid shifting consumer sentiment.
