Activist Boniface Mwangi has been arrested.

Reports indicate that Mwangi was arrested in connection with the Red Vest Movement protest led by his fellow activist Beatrice Waithera alias Bettie wa Shiro staged in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) last week in protest of the runaway corruption being witnessed in the country.
Mwangi led fellow activists in pushing for Waithera’s release from Central Police Station.
The protest received coverage from international media including Al Jazeera.
A snapshot of the investigating officer George Muchiri’s statement doing rounds on social media shows that Mwangi was arrested in connection with a potential revolution over poor governance.
