Three years ago, former AM Live **st Kobi Kohara found herself trending across Kenyan social media for all the wrong reasons. The ex-NTV presenter had only recently departed for New York for further stu**** when she was exposed for trying to p*** downloaded p**tos as her own on her Instagram page.
An image of a salad on her Instagram, which turned out to be from a food blogger, sparked the ******* which saw her delete several posts before, eventually, deactivating her social media profiles as the trolling from Kenyans reached worrying levels.
She was accused of portraying a fake lifestyle and offered an apology noting she was only curating content and did not intend to cause harm. Since then, few know what the once popular TV figure has been up to.
Kobi hasn’t allowed the ******* to stop her progress, **wever, and has been making impressive moves in New York where she remains based.
Kobi stud*** for her Masters in Media Stu****, Arts, Entertainment and Media Management at The New Sc**ol and is currently a Production ***ociate at Park Pictures, a leading production firm.
Park Pictures, founded by 1998 by Executive Producer Jacqueline Kelman Bisbee and renowned filmmaker/cinematographer Lance Acord, has been involved in the production of numerous a***d-winning films and commercials including **llywood blockbusters.
The long list includes Cop Car, directed by Jon Watts and starring Kevin Bacon, which premiered at Sundance in 2015 and The Sentence which premiered at The 2018 Sundance Film Festival and received the Au***nce A***d for U.S. Do***entary before being acquired by HBO.
In her role as a Production ***ociate, Kihara takes on numerous key tasks at the organization.

Among other things, she supports research and efforts for films and commercials. She is also involved in evaluation of current publishing processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
She works on script planning and writing, and also with the product development team to do***ent new content development workflows to maximize efficiency and content reuse.
Before leaving for New York, Kihara had enjoyed stints at leading Kenyan media **uses including Nation Media Group (NMG), Radio Africa and Royal Media Services (RMS).
She is the **lder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts and Theatre Stu**** from Northumbria University.
