Over 150 restaurants are to participate in the 5th edition of Nairobi Burger Week. This year’s edition features the two-time partnership between EatOut and multinational financial corporation MasterCard.

Diners will enjoy offers on their burger meals such as 2 for 1 combo, ‘Burger + drink’ meal combos and other value-driven offers from 26th Feb to 7th March 2021.

Speaking at the media launch at Urban Burger Westgate, Joy Wairimu, EatOut’s General Manager, noted, “Just as with our previous burger week activations, the focus is to ensure diners enjoy great food with their friends and family, as well as create memorable experiences,”

“This year we have seen a record number of restaurants, over 150, so diners will be spoilt for choice. We’ve made it even simpler, so all one has to do is visit any one of the participating outlets and ask for their burger week deal,” she added.

Burger week 2021 is assured to reach far and wide as Uber eats will provide delivery services for non-restaurant burger lovers. Mastercard holders can look forward to exclusive free delivery when they order via UberEats.

Nadeem Anjarwalla, UberEats General Manager for Kenya, added, “We are teaming up with Eat Out Kenya to bring out the best that Kenyan restaurants have to offer during Burger Week. Through this partnership, we want to showcase the diversity of restaurants that people can search for, discover and order from at the touch of a button and have their favourite burgers delivered reliably and quickly to their homes or offices.”

Nairobi Burger Week.

“As Kenyans continue to embrace digital payments to pursue their passion for
food with additional safety and convenience, we are delighted to show our appreciation for our cardholders by offering rewards that add value and priceless memories,” she noted.

Nairobi burger week was first launched in Nairobi in 2016 with 80 participating restaurants. The number of participating restaurants progressively increased to over 150 in 2021 as the burger festivities’ title grew.

Mastercard recently took on the partnership title from Visa, which spearheaded the burger week in 2019 and 2018. They featured influencers and artistes in their campaigns, such as rapper, songwriter Chris Kaiga and comedian Teacher Wanjiku.
