Al-S*****b s******s repulsed in Garissa by s*************s

The Kenyan S*************s on Sunday night repulsed an a****k from suspected Al-S*****b g****n at a construction site in Shimbirey, Garissa County.

Police Commander in Garissa confirmed that eight g****n had targeted the construction site but were driven away by a team of Kenya Defense Forces alongside policemen in a shootout.

No c********s have been reported but the security guard manning the gate and his wife s******d g*n w****s and are recuperating in Garissa Referra Hospital.

All the 45 workers at the construction site, including Chinese nationalities have been accounted for.

On Saturday, police a******d three m*****a s******s, two Somalis and one Kenyan, in Hagadera Garissa where they recovered three p*****s and 36 b*****s.

North Eastern Regional Commander Paul Soy said that the two Somali s******s were aboard a hired vehicles and instructed the driver to avoid routes manned by authorities.

The s******s who were expected to be arraigned in court today (Monday) have been flown to Nairobi and will appear before the court of law on Tuesday.

This comes as authorities have tightened security operations across the country with concentration in regions along Kenya-Somalia borders.

Security operations have also been heightened in the vast Dadaab refugee centre and along the borders with an aim to flush out Al-s*****b militias, t*******t sympathizers and their financiers belived to be hiding there.

In April 2015, Garissa County was hit by Al-S*****b t*******t where 147 students of Moi University were k****d and 78 i*****d.

Recently, the t*******t group attacked Dusit D2 Hotel in Nairobi that resulted to 21 c********s.

The police have launched a m*****t for six t****r s******s linked to the Dusit a****k who played various roles in the t****r.

The six s******s who have gone into hiding are: Didu Mohamed Fugicha, Hussein Adan Hussein, Gadaffi Munene, Abdi Ali Kanchora, Boru Abdi Bidu, and Ramadhan Wario Bonaya.
