Etihad Airways Engineering has been awarded maintenance contracts by Kenya Airways for A-checks on a number of Boeing 787 and Boeing 737 aircraft in its fleet. This project, which was announced during MRO Middle East, was awarded to Etihad Airways Engineering after it completed a series of successful Boeing 787 C-checks for the Kenyan national carrier last year.

Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airways Engineering, said: “We are pleased to welcome Kenya Airways back to our facility in Abu Dhabi. An increasing number of airlines from around the world, including flag carriers, are taking advantage of the value proposition and extensive range of maintenance, repair and overhaul services we offer at Etihad Airways Engineering. We are committed to building on our expertise as a Centre of Excellence for modern platforms like the Boeing 787 and the Airbus A380.”
