Jubilee Asset Management Limited (JAML) has grown its Assets Under Management (AUM) to Ksh 259 billion, as the fund manager expands its retail investment business and institutional mandates. The Ksh259 billion portfolio comprises Ksh225 billion in institutional managed funds and Ksh34 billion in retail investment funds.
The company says growth has been particularly pronounced in Jubilee Asset Management’s retail business. Retail AUM increased 148% from Ksh8.9 billion in FY 2024 to Ksh22.1 billion at the end of FY 2025. It has since risen to Ksh34 billion, representing an increase of Ksh11.9 billion, or approximately 54%, from the FY 2025 level.
The latest growth builds on a turnaround in the asset manager’s financial performance. Jubilee Asset Management reported a 131% increase in revenue to Ksh415 million in FY 2025 and recorded Ksh30 million in profit before tax, following an Ksh 87 million improvement from the previous year.
Jubilee Asset Management Acting Chief Executive Officer, Cliff Bakashaba, said the growth reflects changing investor needs and the company’s focus on broadening access to investment solutions. “Investors are increasingly looking for asset managers who can help them navigate volatility, protect their wealth and identify sustainable opportunities for long-term growth. Our focus is on giving individuals, businesses and institutions access to disciplined investment solutions that respond to these changing needs,” said Cliff.

Against this backdrop, Jubilee Asset Management has been named the Fastest Growing Asset Management Company in Kenya 2026 by the Global Banking & Finance Awards. Mr Bakashaba said the recognition reflects investor confidence in the company’s investment approach and reinforces its strategy of expanding access to investment solutions.
The company’s dollar-denominated Money Market Fund has been among the products recording significant growth. Assets in the Jubilee Money Market Fund (USD) increased 230.2% from USD 9.4 million at the end of 2024 to USD 31.3 million at the end of 2025, equivalent to approximately Ksh4 billion.
The fund returned 5.46% in 2025 against a benchmark return of 4.24 per cent, according to Jubilee Asset Management’s 2025 financial disclosures. Jubilee has also expanded access to its retail investment products through its JAMHub digital platform, which enables investors to open and manage investments in its Kenya Shilling Money Market Fund, US Dollar Money Market Fund and Fixed Income Fund digitally.
The growth comes against the backdrop of an expanding investment management industry in Kenya and across Africa, as increased participation, product innovation and competition among fund managers reshape how individuals and institutions allocate capital.
Across Africa, pension funds and collective investment schemes hold more than US$600 billion in long-term capital. Despite the size of this pool, a significant proportion of institutional capital remains concentrated in traditional and conservative asset classes, creating an opportunity for asset managers to broaden access to diversified investment products and channel more long-term capital into productive investments.
For Jubilee Asset Management, the expanding pool of investable capital presents an opportunity to grow both its institutional business and retail investment offering as more individuals, businesses and institutions seek professionally managed investment solutions.
“As we grow, our focus remains unchanged: helping more individuals, institutions and businesses achieve their financial goals through disciplined investment management and innovative solutions that create long-term value,” said Bakashaba.
