Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL) has introduced Windhoek Beer into the Kenyan market. This launch comes as Kenyan consumers increasingly seek premium and craft beers for social occasions, with recent industry reports highlighting a surge in demand for high-quality brews.

KWAL boasts a diverse portfolio of ciders, wine, spirits, and Heineken beer, and has now added Windhoek Beer, a premium brand “known for its purity and craftsmanship.” Crafted in strict adherence to the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516, Windhoek Beer has just three natural ingredients: malted barley, hops, and water.

KWAL will launch Windhoek Beer through the “100% Real” campaign. This messaging highlights the beer’s purity, crafted with only three natural ingredients, without additives or artificial ingredients.

Ms Lina Githuka, Managing Director of KWAL, said the launch reflects the company’s deep passion for meeting the evolving tastes of its consumers. “Kenya’s beer lovers are becoming more discerning, and Windhoek’s commitment to purity and quality aligns perfectly with this growing demand,” said Ms Githuka.

Windhoek Beer is a perfect addition, reinforcing our leadership in the market and providing Kenyan consumers with even more high-quality choices,” Ms Githuka said.

Jonas Geeraerts, Commercial Director at KWAL, highlighted the growing demand for premium beers in Kenya. “There’s a noticeable shift in consumer preferences in Kenya, with a growing appreciation for authentic, high-quality beers. Windhoek Beer, with its rich heritage and superior craftsmanship, is poised to capture the attention of Kenyan beer enthusiasts,” said Geeraerts.

With the Kenyan beer market becoming more dynamic, KWAL says it continues to lead in introducing new products to cater to the evolving tastes of local consumers. “We are excited to offer this exceptional product to Kenyan consumers. This is just one more example of our commitment to bringing the best beverage options to the Kenyan market,” Jonas Geeraerts.

Established in 1920, Windhoek Beer is brewed in Namibia. KWAL, is a leading manufacturer in the Kenyan alcohol industry, boasts a portfolio of prestigious local and international brands, including County, Kibao , Hunter’s Choice, Savanna Cider, Kingfisher, and Amarula, among others.
