Jumia Kenya has launched Gadget Mondays, a brand campaign aimed at helping consumers make informed decisions when purchasing tech gadgets like smartphones, home appliances, and computing devices.

The company is well known as the home of tech brands in Kenya and will feature brands like Tecno, Samsung, Xiaomi, Freeyond, and Oppo among others.

“This is an excellent opportunity for brands to co-produce content with us and showcase their assortment on channels like Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram, which tech-savvy consumers have shown a great affinity for. Jumia Gadget Mondays will help brands position themselves through content user needs such as affordability, longevity, and novelty”, said Jumia Kenya Chief Marketing Officer, Hellen Ng’ang’a

“We are happy to announce that we will kick off our Gadget Monday today with the newly launched Tecno Phantom X2 Series, aimed at helping consumers have a seamless purchase journey through our tech review on our social media pages. The X2 series will feature today from 12 pm-1 pm”.

Other brand exposures planned include Samsung,  Xiaomi, and Philips in the coming weeks.

Gadget Mondays will build awareness of Jumia’s official stores (official distributors) ahead of Tech Week Campaign in March, focused on deals on phones, computing, televisions, games & consoles, cameras & other accessories. Consumers will get a feel of what to expect when purchasing tech brands in Kenya.
