Galgallo is seen as a big catch for Marsabit Governor Mohamud Ali's administration ahead of the next general elections, as he brings on board extensive media networks, skills and experience. Mohamud Ali is serving his fist term and is expected to defend the seat in the 2022 elections. Galgallo, a graduate of journalism, was a prolific journalist at Nation Media Group, where he reported courts for the Business Daily newspaper. He has previously served as Director Communications in Tana River County during the first term of devolution.
