Sports journalist Edmond Nyabola is set to join the China Global Television Network (CGTV) after quitting NTV where he was a senior anchor/reporter.
“It has been FIVE great years with NTV Kenya (NMG). I have worked with an excellent team, learnt aplenty, grown immensely, interviewed great people and won awards. It is time, however, to move on to something else. Gutted that I am leaving a place that will forever be home to me. Maybe someday I will be back, but until then, be well, Twin Towers,” he wrote on social media.
Business Today has since learnt that Nyabola has landed a better deal at the Chinese TV station and is likely to replace Celestine Karoney, who recently resigned after getting a job with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
