OPPO is set to introduce the OPPO F9 smartphone in the Kenyan market, which comes with latest super-fast charging technology VOOC and what the management calls unique Waterdrop Screen design.

The VOOC charging technology applies a low voltage fast charging mechanism to deliver quick charging at a speed four times faster than the normal conventional charging technology to give a two-hour talk in just five-minutes.

It also ensures a safe charging process with five layers of protection from the charging adapter to smartphone, including low temperature and voltage.

The OPPO F9 will also come with a 19.5:9 Water-drop Screen design to minimize the notch and create more room for the screen with a body to screen ratio of 90.8%.

The water drop notch hosts the receiver, camera and light sensor for more condensed space and more compact layout, thereby allowing users to view more content on the 6.23-inch screen.

The device will come in two colours – Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue. OPPO says it wants to infuse these feelings into the design of the product to provide consumers with vitality rooted in nature.

Moreover, to achieve a unified design, F9 for the first time applies a gradient design on the side frame, connecting the sides and the back.

OPPO plans to start the preorder of this device earlier than expected as from 10th Sept 2018.
